DERSD Awarded $1.5 Million EPA Grant
The Delta Economic Research & Sustainability District (DERSD) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to further its mission of promoting sustainable economic development, environmental innovation, and workforce advancement throughout the Delta region.
This significant investment will support initiatives designed to strengthen communities through job creation, environmental resilience, infrastructure planning, and economic opportunity. The funding will also help DERSD expand partnerships with local governments, educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations to deliver lasting impact.

DOTD Thriving Communities
DERSD will be hosting the U.S. Department of Transportation August 13th-14th for our Thriving Communities Program Kick-off. Partners will include. DERSD has been selected as a lead project out of the 20 member cohort who where awarded the Grant. The grant focuses on Workforce Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Development for constituents across the Louisiana Delta.
